Technology for Results (TFR) Workforms

Diane Mayo, Technology for Results: Developing Service-Based Plans. American Library Association, 2005.

Professional librarian and library automation expert Diane Mayo shows librarians how to create a dynamic technology plan that will allocate resources to support library priorities and manage technology services based on community goals. And with the help of sixteen workforms, librarians can customize the planning process to sustain effective technology programs while expanding and adding where needed.

These workforms were created using Microsoft Word. If a workform included calculations, a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet was embedded into the Word document. Just double-click anywhere on the spreadsheet to open the embedded Excel file. You will then be able to enter your data and the totals and other calculations will be computed automatically. All of the instructions for the workforms are Word files.
